Connie the Cottage 

Welcome to our brand new waterfront cottage that's perfect for nature enthusiasts!

This cozy retreat is the ideal getaway for those seeking outdoor adventure & relaxation in the heart of nature. Next to snowmobiling/ATV trails and stunning nearby  parks for hiking and biking, you'll never run out of activities! Take a kayak out or fish on the river in the backyard.

After a day outdoors, unwind and reconnect with loved ones - share stories around the firepit or snuggle up next to the fireplace.

Our cottage was fully renovated inside and out in 2023 so that our guests can enjoy all the modern comforts and amenities while preserving the character and charm of the finishes.

The cottage offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled in the heart of nature, Connie the Cottage is a true haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Unwind on the patio, where you can bbq, sip hot cocoa or share stories around the campfire.

We can sleep 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a Queen bed, Bedroom 2 has a Double bed and Bedroom 3 has a  Double bed with a Twin bunk overtop.

The kitchen has everything you will need:

- stainless steel appliances (fridge,  stove and microwave)
- a kettle, toaster, Keurig coffee maker (bring your own K-cups!), as well as tea/coffee/sugar/salt/pepper/creamer. 
- Cutlery, knives, cutting boards, mixing bowls, bottle opener, can opener, pots, pans, cups, plates, bowls, etc.

We provide clean luxury bedding, towels, shampoo, body wash, soap, and toilet paper for all of our guests - just bring yourself and a few essentials!

Enjoy your morning coffee on one of the 2 decks and  listen to the birds, while enjoying the stunning views.

This private oasis has a deck with a picnic table and BBQ. Enjoy some smores sitting on the muskoka chairs around the fire pit (bring your own firewood), snuggle up by the fireplace in the living room or relax with some music from our record collection on the retro record player, or play some of the provided board games and puzzles.

There are 2 kayaks you can take out for a paddle. The kayaks and lifejackets/paddles on the property belong to the owner and are to be used at your own risk.

We have a brand new cedar barrel sauna where you can unwind and relax surrounded by evergreens.

• Take out a kayak or fish on the river in the backyard

• Hit 1 of the 4 trails at Eagles Nest Lookout to hike (under 1 km in length)

• Check out Egan Chutes Provincial Park with an 8km hiking trail

• For any season, go to Silent Lake Provincial Park, and try one of 3 hiking trails, 2 mountain bike trails, 4 cross country skiing trails and 2 snowshoeing trails

• Enjoy a swim at the beach or put your boat in at the boat launch at L'Amable Lake Dam Beach
